By becoming a member of the Iowa Funeral Directors Association, you become an integral part of an association comprised of people like you, licensed funeral directors dedicated to serving Iowa communities and Iowa families.
To be eligible for membership to the Iowa Funeral Directors Association, you must be a funeral director licensed by the State of Iowa.

Receive time sensitive information quickly through your email or fax. Special Edition IFDA Insiders, memorial and service information for members, and public relations announcements are sent to member.
On the web, membership gains you access to the Members Only areas of the IFDA website, your top resource for membership, products, and services information. The IFDA website is always up-to-date and available to you day and night.
Members have the opportunity to participate in and benefit from state and national representation with IFDA’s grassroots efforts. You may participate by volunteering your time as a Legislative Committee member, contacting your representatives when notified of issues that affect your profession, or backing the PAC, which helps support pro-funeral service legislative candidates.
Annual IFDA Convention
A three-day event that allows members to learn from highly respected leaders in the funeral service industry, discover new products and services offered by cutting-edge suppliers, and network with funeral directors from throughout the state. In 2020, the Convention will be May 19-21.
District meetings provide members with quality, pre-approved continuing education programs at no cost while allowing you to network with friends and colleagues in your area.
Online Continuing Education Courses
IFDA has teamed with FuneralCE®, a service of WebCE®, to offer online continuing education courses for funeral professionals. These online CE courses for Funeral Directors and Embalmers provide instant results and feedback, unlimited free retakes and online certificates of completion.
Individual courses start at just $15 or less, and FuneralCE provides live customer service and support!
